Rob Manthey is an American composer based in the Hague. He studied music composition at Indiana and Yale universities (US), and received a Fulbright scholarship to study at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. His work consists of music for acoustic instruments and voices as well as electronics; and his music has been heard in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. His choral music has been performed by a multiple Grammy-winning choir the Gregg Smith Singers in New York City, The Atlanta Schola Cantorum in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Orpheon San Juan Bautista in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Florence, Italy. Adjudicators for the American Composers Orchestra in New York commented “this composer understands nuance and color” about his music. In the Netherlands, his music has been performed by the Ives Ensemble, and has been heard in the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ, Theater Kikker in Utrecht among others. Rob Manthey is a BMI affiliated composer.
Hee-Seung Choi is an interdisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. She is also a classically trained musician who studied music composition at Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University (US). Since finishing her study in ArtScience at the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague in 2008, she has been working in a combination of media, including video, performance, sound, and installation. Her work draws inspiration from familiar signs, routines, and arrangements found in everyday life. Her relationship with Bradwolff goes back a few years: she had her solo exhibition “Feeling of Time” in 2018.
